Joseph E. Naso

October 3, 1931 — May 17, 2008

Joseph E. Naso, 76, of Perkasie, passed away suddenly Saturday, May17, 2008, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Jean (Bright) Naso. They were married 52 years.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of the late Domenick and Mae (Kulp) Naso.

Mr. Naso had served in the National Guard of Pennsylvania.

He was employed as a machinist for U. S. Gauge Division, Ametek Inc. for 41 years, retiring in 1993.

Mr. Naso enjoyed hunting and his dogs. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joseph A. and his wife, Sandra, Perkasie; three grandchildren, Joshua; Katie Cerefice and her husband, Matthew; Tyler, all of Perkasie; and a brother, Serafino “Sonny” Naso and his wife, Shirley, Sellersville.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Michalena “Mickey” Mitchell.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, May 21 at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Interment will be in St. Andrew’s Union Cemetery, Perkasie.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations in Mr. Naso’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
