Thomas A. Nalepa, 64, of Perkasie, passed away Sunday morning, January 20, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Sandra L. (Moore) Nalepa. They were married for 46 years.
Born in Quakertown, he was a son of Harriet (Wenhold) Nalepa, Richlandtown, and the late Adam Nalepa.
He was a US Navy veteran, having served during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He had been employed for many years as a maintenance machinist with area manufacturing companies, including Plastic Dip Moldings, Inc., Plumsteadville; US Gauge Division, Ametek, Inc., Sellersville; Hunter Spring, Hatfield; Eastern Rotorcraft, Doylestown, and the former Carr-Vin, Sellersville.
Tom loved bowling and was a member of the Earlington Bowling League. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, motorcycling and watching football.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son, Stephen M. Nalepa and daughter, Joyce A. Nalepa, both of Perkasie; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Rose Vargo and her husband, Ralph, Quakertown and Pat Means and her husband, David, Perkasie; a brother, Rick Nalepa, Perkasie; his mother-in-law, Margaret (Hinkle) Moore, Telford; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Cody, and a son-in-law, Robert Weiner.
His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday morning, January 23, at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call Tuesday evening, January 22 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the funeral home, and on Wednesday morning, January 23, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Sellersville Cemetery.
