Anna Nace, of Perkasie, formerly of Sellersville, the Hawaiian Islands, and Naples, Florida, entered into rest surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 12, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Gerald F. Nace for 67 years. She was 88.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Hulicek) Sedik.
Primarily a homemaker, Anna had also been employed for many years by EMICO and V & M Tool, both of Dublin. She had worked at home stitching baseballs for Hubbert Baseball Co. of Perkasie as well.
Mrs. Nace was a long-time member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.
Anna enjoyed beautiful flowers, dancing and tending to her vegetable garden. Especially talented in the culinary field, she loved to cook and to collect cookbooks. She had published original recipes in several magazines and cookbooks.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Nace is survived by her children: Greg Nace and his wife, B.J., of Mt. Lebanon; Colette Jaworski, of Ormond Beach, Florida; Christine Wilson and her husband, Don, of Sellersville; Carolyn Nace, of Windermere, Florida; Martin Nace and his wife, Missy, of Willow Grove; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph Sedik and his wife, Jane, of Lansdale.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Geraldine.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 17, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery, Hilltown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
