Emily Myers

Emily Myers, of East Rockhill Township, passed away at her residence Thursday, January 26, 2017. She was 91.
She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Myers, who died in 1969.
Born in Geryville, she was the daughter of the late James and Tillie (Lutz) Ambrose.
Emily had been employed for many years as an inspector at the former U. S. Gauge Division, Ametek, Inc., Sellersville, until retiring in 1991.
Mrs. Myers was a long-time member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.
A published poet, Emily had also loved to cook and knit.
Mrs. Myers is survived by two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two nephews, Jeffrey Ambrose, of Telford; Dennis Harbon, of Center Valley; and two nieces, Lynda Honeywell, of Murfreesboro, TN; and Donna Dobson, of San Clemente, CA.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael J. Myers, in September 2016, and James Myers, a brother, John Ambrose, and a sister, Agnes Harbon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 1, in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, with a visitation from 9-9:45 a.m.
Interment will follow in the adjoining parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church at the address above.
