Samuel E. Munn

Samuel Edward Munn, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. He was 78.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Edward and June (Raschke) Stanley Munn.
Sam had worked his entire life for the family business, Munn Roofing Corporation, of Hatfield, PA. He had also owned North Wood Roofing Company, Germantown, PA.
Sam was an Eagles fan and a friend of “Bill W.”
He is survived by his children, Bridget Munn, of St. Petersburg, FL; Edward Munn and his wife, Nancy, of Blue Bell, PA; Alice Munn, of Blooming Glen, PA; Julie Munn and her husband, Bobby Ruch; and Samantha Munn, all of Oreland, PA; former spouses, Dawn Hophan Munn, of Glenside, PA; and Alice Fahy Munn, of Blooming Glen; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Louise Shinkman and her husband, David, of Fort Myers, FL; and Richard Stanley, of Philadelphia, PA.
Sam was preceded in death by two children, Angel and Murty Munn.
His memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2018, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family requests flowers be sent to the funeral home for Sam’s memorial services.
