Karen Mullen

Karen Mullen, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, with her LifePath family by her bedside at St. Luke’s Hospital- Quakertown. She was 49.

She spent the day being visited by friends and hearing stories being told of her many years of adventures. She did not miss a beat, even up to the very end, making sure whoever was near was rubbing her feet, holding her hand, and giving to them her undivided attention. She was a pistol!

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Robert Mullen.

Karen came to LifePath in 1991 and had lived at Milford since that time.

In her more recent years at Milford, she was blessed to have a supervisor who loved and cared for her like family. The bond they shared was seen and admired by all.

Karen was loved by so many. She did not give anyone the chance not to do so! As soon as anyone would enter the Milford home, she would ensure you knew who she was. And it was a guarantee, you would love her by the end of the visit.

Karen had particularly enjoyed countless holiday visits to the homes of staff members, who ensured she was always surrounded by family. She had many friends at LifePath. There were few who did not know her, if not by her name, than by her nickname, “Little Momma.” She was a little lady with a big heart.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her LifePath family of caregivers and housemates.
