Mrs. Moyer was a long-time member of St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie, where she had volunteered as a Sunday school and Bible school teacher. She was also a member of the Kitchen Committee, the Sewing Circle, and the Quilters.

A farm girl at heart, Anna Mary loved to be outside in her garden or among the apple trees, collecting fruit for homemade pies and preserves. She especially enjoyed cooking and baking and took great pride in sharing old Pennsylvania Dutch recipes with family and friends. She also loved quilting.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, F. Bruce Moyer, in 2003; five brothers: Harvey D. Rice, Jr., Alfred D., Elmer D., Wilmer D., and William D. Rice; and five sisters: Lydia D. Rice, Mabel D. Brook, Florence D. Derstine, Elsie D. Meyers, and Elizabeth D. Shelly.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 15, in St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dill Avenue and Chestnut Street, Perkasie, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.
