Jesse D. Miskovsky

March 11, 1983 — December 24, 2010

Jesse David Miskovsky, 27, of Perkasie, passed away suddenly as the result of an automobile accident on Friday, December 24. He was the beloved husband of Jill (Fosbenner) Miskovsky. They were married on July 4, 2010.

Born in Doylestown, he was the son of David Nolan Miskovsky and his partner, Lou Ann Brown, and Debra Lee (Hunsberger) Miskovsky and her partner, Gordon Barben, all of Quakertown.

Jesse was a 2001 graduate of Quakertown High School.

Following his graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

While he was stationed in Japan, his assigned ship traveled to 100 different countries. He also attended the Navy Culinary Institute, San Antonio, TX.

His intention was to re-enlist in the Reserves in January.

Interrupted only by his military service, Jesse had been employed for 13 years with the R & S Keystone Restaurant, Telford, most recently as a chef.

He was a member of the American Legion Nase-Kraft Post 255, Sellersville, where he often assisted with the cooking, and the Paletown Rod and Gun Club. Jesse was also a Mason.

A talented guitar player, Jesse loved music. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and skiing.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two sisters: Courtney Covelens and her husband, Deric, of Quakertown; Morgan Pollock and her husband, Stephen, of Richlandtown; three nieces: Keelin, Ava, and Amelia; a nephew, Ethan; his paternal grandmother, Frances Miskovsky, of Quakertown; his mother-in-law, Nancy Amspacher, and her husband, Timothy, of Souderton; his father-in-law, Thomas Fosbenner, and his wife, Kim, of Telford; and his cat, “Kenni.”

His Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 3, 2011, at 12:00 Noon at the Sellersville Fire Department, 2 North Main Street, Sellersville 18960. Family and friends may call at the firehouse on Monday morning, from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Interment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Nase-Kraft Post 255, 75 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
