Robert L. Miller

September 25, 1936 — January 14, 2025

Robert Lee Miller, of Sellersville, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was 88.

He was the beloved husband of Jeanette Miller for 64 years.

Born in Hatfield, Bob was the son of the late James and Cora (Bader) Miller. Bob attended Sell-Perk High School.

From 1956-1958, Mr. Miller proudly served in the U. S. Army, stationed in Germany.

Bob had been employed for 42 years at Paramount Packaging as a printing press operator, eventually retiring in 1998.

He was an active member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 1539 and the American Legion Post #255, both of Sellersville; the Perkasie Owls Club, Nest #1224; and the Pennridge Senior Center, Perkasie.

Bob’s passion for life extended well beyond his professional endeavors. In his free time, Bob enjoyed bowling in team and mixed leagues and spending time with family and friends in a variety of activities.

In his younger years, Bob had enjoyed playing baseball, pool, and darts. Later in life, Bob enjoyed spending his time playing quoits and shuffleboard. He also and played pool on the Pennridge Senior Center Pool Team.

He always had a special place in his heart for the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, and Notre Dame football. Bob was happiest when dancing with his lovely wife and singing (mostly in the shower).

Above all else, Bob loved his family deeply and cherished the time he spent with them.

In addition to his wife, Bob will be dearly missed by his three children: Kenneth Miller and his wife, Cathleen, Donna Dickerson and her husband Edwin, and Robin A. McIntyre and her husband John; his three grandchildren: Shannon Bohn and her husband David, Savanna McIntyre, and Kimberly Ryzner (Jeremy Wieand); his three great-grandchildren: Autumn and Juliet Bohn, and Revan Wieand; and his sister, Linda Statuti.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings: Alice Petchner, Lois Koffel, Elaine Schoen, Carolyn Shaffer, Donald Miller, John “Jack” Miller, and Glenn Miller.

His visitation will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 11 AM – 1 PM, at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd., 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private for family only.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bob’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
