Dawn M. (Winters) Meshon
April 10, 1965 — May 11, 2010
Dawn M. Meshon, 45, of Sellersville, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday evening, May 11, 2010. She was the beloved wife of Craig S. Meshon for 18 years.
Born in Doylestown, she was the daughter of the late Earl C. and Diane B. (Carter) Winters. Dawn was a 1984 graduate of Pennridge High School.
A homemaker most of her life, she had been employed for seven years in food services at Pennridge High School.
Dawn enjoyed camping and spending time in the mountains and at the Jersey shore. She loved entertaining friends at home. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, especially on family game night. She cherished her family’s Disney World vacation this past April.
In addition to her husband, Dawn is survived by her children: Tyler D. Meshon and Alyssa D. Meshon, both of Sellersville; her two sisters and brother: Vicki Moffett, of Sellersville; Richard A. Winters and his wife, Verdie, of Perkasie; Gail McCarthy and her husband, Fraz, of Bedminster; mother-in-law, Elaine B. Meshon, of Warminster; brother-in-law, Mitchell Meshon and his wife, Andrea, Oxford; sister-in-law, Heather Meshon, of Warminster; aunt, Cookie LaRochelle, of Perkasie; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved Husky dog, "Shayna."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Joel Meshon.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 15, at 1:30 PM, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening, May 14, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM.
Interment will be in Solebury Friends Meeting Cemetery, Solebury.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Steeley Funeral Home at the above address.
