Robert J. McLaughlin, of Sellersville, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023, in Pennsburg Manor, Pennsburg. He was 71.
He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Covington) McLaughlin for 41 years.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late James A. and Mary (Fry) McLaughlin. He had attended Council Rock High School.
Mr. McLaughlin had been employed as an independent stone mason, working for many local contractors. He retired in 2018.
An avid outdoorsman, Bobby was a particularly talented archer, specializing in the traditional longbow.
In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by his siblings: James McLaughlin, Mary Lou Gilmour, Colleen Dovidio, Karen Gill, Gary McLaughlin, Christopher McLaughlin, Dane McLaughlin, and Patrick McLaughlin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Kronenbitter.
His Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2024, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
