Elizabeth A. (Larr) Mcdonough

April 16, 1947 — June 13, 2014

Elizabeth A. McDonough, 67, of Hilltown Township, passed away suddenly at her residence on Friday, June 13, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Robert S. McDonough, Sr. They were married for over 30 years.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Elizabeth T. (Gilmore) Larr. She was a 1965 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, Wyncote.

Betty had been employed as a secretary with the former US Equipment Company, Warrington. She most recently worked in the office of the former EST Group, Hatfield.

Along with her husband Bob, she had enjoyed archery. Betty had loved to travel, especially to sunny beach locales. A “rock and roll girl,” she also liked country music, in particular, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban. An avid reader, Betty also liked watching birds. Most of all, she found great joy spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her step-son, Robert S. McDonough, Jr., of Bonita Springs, Florida; a step-daughter, Jennifer L. Clement, and her husband, Wayne, of Claymont, Delaware; four grandsons: Tyler, Connor, Logan and Zachary; two nephews: Connor Larr and Alexander Larr; her Yellow Lab, “Kota” and her cat, “Skittz”.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Robert C. Larr, Jr.
