Jessie F. (Finley) Mccuen

December 13, 1952 — November 13, 2007

Jessie Finley McCuen, 54, of Green Lane, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Tuesday, November 13, at The VNA of St. Luke’s Hospice, Lower Saucon Township. She had bravely fought cancer for thirteen years.

Born in Tucson, Arizona, she was the daughter of Eunice (Stover) Finley, Bellefonte, PA, and the late Jack Finley.

Jessie was a 1970 graduate of Wissahickon High School and a 1974 graduate of Albright College.

She was employed in data entry at MOPAC, Souderton.

Jessie loved all animals, reading, doing puzzles, and making craft projects. She had also volunteered her time and talents as a Brownie leader. Most especially, “Mum-Mum” loved spending time with her five grandbabies.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two beautiful daughters: Megan Deily and her husband, David, Sellersville; Jamie Ford and her husband, Jim, Telford; five grandchildren: Blake and Brooke Deily, Sellersville; Lindsay, Lauren, and Ryan Ford, Telford; three sisters: JoAnn Caione and her husband, John, Fairless Hills; Ida Feldmeier and her husband, Rich, Lansdale; Winifred “Fred” Monsell and her husband, Vernon, Bellefonte; many loving nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Craig and Jody Stewart, Mainland.

Her Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 17, at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call Saturday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of service.
