Anna May Mace, 70, formerly of Telford and Buckingham, passed away Monday evening, April 13, 2009, at her residence in ManorCare Health Services, Montgomery Township.
Born in Philadelphia, Anna May was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna May (Tobin) Drenkhahn.
She had been employed for many years as a real estate broker.
She was a parishioner of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, where she was a member of the Silver and Gold Club. She also had been a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #655, Quakertown.
Anna May enjoyed fishing and sailing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was also an accomplished pianist. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her five children: Theresa McKeown, of Buckingham; Mary Anne McKeown, and her husband, Ed, of Berlin, New Jersey; Dolores Shafer, and her husband, Russell, of Sellersville; Jean Weaks, and her husband, Tim, of Aurora, North Carolina; and Robert Allen Mace, Jr., of Quakertown; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Mary Anne Piuma, and her husband, Ray, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Peg Jones, and her husband, Dave, of Allentown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 17, 2009, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where family and friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ’s Home for Children, 800 North York Road, Warminster, PA 18974.
