William R. Ludlow, 69, a resident of Hilltown Township for 36 years, passed away Monday, October 18, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Dawn (Griffith) Ludlow for 45 years.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Ella (Poust) Ludlow, of Oakford, PA, and the late William Ludlow.
Bill was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam era.
He had been employed for over 25 years as a welding instructor at North Montco Vocational Technical School, Lansdale. Prior to that, Bill had been employed at FMC, Colmar.
An accomplished woodturner, he was a member of the Bucks County Woodturners Club. Bill was also a long-time member of the North Pennsmen, singing bass and serving as a past treasurer.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his three children: Lisa Ludlow, of Corvallis, MT; William J. Ludlow, of Palm; Cindy Cluff, of North Carolina; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Ella R. Minch and her husband, William, of Feasterville; Ruth E. Hare, of Oakford; and two brothers: Raymond W. Ludlow and his wife, Margaret, of Kintnersville; and John F. Ludlow and his wife, Sharon, of Levittown.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Fred J. Ludlow.
His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 23, at 12:00 Noon in Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, Palm, PA 18070. Family and friends may call Saturday morning at the church from 10:30 AM until time of service.
Interment will be held privately.
