Martha Ann (Boesenhofer) Los

Martha Ann Los, of Perkasie, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012, in Pine Run Health Center, Doylestown. She was the beloved wife of Edward N. Los for 40 years. She was 64.

Born in West Rockhill Township, she was the daughter of the late William O. Boesenhofer and the late Eleanor A. (Trumbore) Boesenhofer Musselman.

Martha was a 1965 graduate of Pennridge High School.

A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Los had also been employed in several local flower shops and gardening centers.

A lifelong member of St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie, Martha had taught Sunday school, volunteered with the Altar Guild and served on the Hospitality Committee.

Martha’s hobbies included gardening and needlepoint. She most enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Martha is survived by her children: Rebecca M. Lebold and her husband, Andrew, of Chalfont; David E. Los and his wife, Tiffany, of Perkasie; and two grandchildren: Eleanor Lebold and Elijah Los.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. William D. Boesenhofer.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 14, in St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dill Avenue and Chestnut Street, Perkasie. Friends may call Monday morning at church, beginning at 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be in St. Andrew’s Union Cemetery, Perkasie.
