Erik G. Lewis

Erik G. Lewis, 41, of Quakertown, formerly of Perkasie, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.
Born in Doylestown, he was the son of Darryl Lewis, of Sellersville, and Dianne (White) Lewis Hopwood, of Quakertown.
Erik had owned and operated his own landscaping business for many years.
He was a member of Great Swamp Gun Club, of Quakertown, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Federation, of Colorado.
Erik enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drag racing with his own car. He also loved landscaping and gardening, but, most especially, he loved spending time with his niece.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Todd Lewis, of Meeker, Colorado; a sister, Kelly Lewis, of Quakertown; and a niece, Ivonna.
His memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 21, 2012, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Family and friends may call Friday afternoon at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions in Erik’s name to the American Diabetes Association, Southeastern Pennsylvania Office, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004
