Shirley A. Lehman, of The Birches at Harleysville, formerly of Perkasie, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at her residence. She was 88.
She was the beloved wife of the late Richard N. Lobron for 12 years until his death in 2013 and the late John R. Lehman, Jr. for 37 years until his death in 1994.
Born in Sellersville, Shirley was the daughter of the late George W. and Leona M. (Nase) Freed. Shirley was a 1954 graduate of Pennridge High School.
Shirley had been employed for many years at the former Harleysville Insurance Company, where she had served as the supervisor of the Auto Policy Service Department.
A lifetime active member of St. Michael’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sellersville, Shirley had served on Church Council for three years.
She was also a 38-year member of the Lenape Chapter # 339 Order of the Eastern Star.
An avid gardener, Shirley had also enjoyed traveling, reading, crafting ceramics, and attending church events. She most loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two daughters: Kathleen Wolcott, of Collegeville, and Karen Campion and her husband, Albert, of Collegeville; two grandchildren: Joshua Dries and his wife, Beth, of Nanticoke and Madeline Dearth and her husband, Kevin, of Spring City; and four great-grandchildren: Gwenevere Benson, Merrick Dries, Nolan Dearth, and Ridley Dearth

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, in St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will be in Sellersville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Shirley’s name may be made to St. Michael’s Lutheran Church at the address above.
