Michael J. Lag, Jr.

It is with great sorrow that Michael J. Lag, Jr., of Hilltown Township, passed away suddenly as the result of a traffic accident on Sunday, July 8, 2018. He was 25.
He was the fiancé of Chelsea Mielke, of Hilltown Township.
Born in Sellersville, Michael was the beloved son of Rita Ann Miley Weber, of Pinehurst, NC, and the late Michael J. Lag, Sr., who died April 9, 2018. He was also the stepson of Robert Weber, of Pinehurst, NC.
Mike was a 2011 graduate of Pennridge High School.
He was the owner of Mikro Tech LLC., (formerly Mikro Tech Inc.), of Perkasie, where he worked as a specialty parts machinist.
Michael was the most kind and giving person. He was brilliant and truly inspiring. He always had a contagious smile, lit up any room, and saw the best in everyone. The close bond he shared with his family is everlasting. He loved the outdoors, especially when riding his motorcycle, four-wheelers, and dirt bike.
In addition to his mother, stepfather, and fiancée, he is survived by his two beloved sisters, Sasha Serok, of Hatfield, Amber Serok, of Silverdale; sister- in- law, Lauren Mielke, of Sellersville; brother- in- law, Brandon Soto, of Hatfield; two nieces, Peyton Serok and Adrianna Soto; three nephews, Nathaniel Soto, Javion Duran, and Sianno Long; his maternal grandmother, Rita Homsher and Bud, of Quakertown; his uncle, Michael Miley and Wendy, of Perkasie; four aunts, Janet Novak and Caryn Goellner, both of Elma, NY, Beth Eister and Dave, and Lisa Zampirri and Bill, all of Quakertown; and his boxer, “Rosco.”
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alfred A. Miley; his paternal grandparents, Celia Wicher and Joseph Lag; and an uncle, Alfred Miley, Jr.
His memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2018, in Calvary Church, 820 Route 113, Souderton, PA 18964, where a visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until time of service. The service will also honor the memory of Michael Lag, Sr., who passed away on April 9, 2018.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
He is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to an animal shelter of one’s choice.
