Raymond Bruce Kulp, of Lake Harmony, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021, in Slate Belt Health and Rehabilitation Center, Bangor. He was 74.
Born in Sellersville, Bruce was the son of the late Raymond M. and Mildred (Hetrick) Kulp. He was a 1965 graduate of Souderton High School and later completed coursework at Lincoln Technologies.
Mr. Kulp was a U. S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War.
He had been employed in the telecommunications field as an engineer, first with AT&T, then with the former Lucent Technologies, and, finally, Agere, of Allentown.
Bruce was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Blakeslee.
An accomplished traveler, Bruce had enjoyed memorable trips to Greece and Egypt and visits to California, especially exploration of Yosemite National Park, a site he dearly loved. He was also an avid swimmer.
Mr. Kulp is survived by his daughter, D. Karen Lynch, and her husband, David, of Perkasie; four granddaughters: Megan DeHaven and her husband, Devon, of Northampton, Elizabeth Bobo, Alexa Kulp, and Emma Lynch; two sisters: Jill Maley and her husband, Gary, and Donna L. Detweiler; his companion, Carol Kirschman, of Georgia; and multiple Kirschman family members whom he loved and trusted.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Raymond Brad Kulp and Brian Leon Kulp, and a brother-in-law, Barry S. Detweiler.
Graveside services were private.
