Dora L. Kotchetovsky, 89, of Perkasie, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021, in Quakertown Center, Quakertown.
She was the wife of the late William Kotchetovsky for 50 years until his death in 2002.
Born in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Silviano and Margaret (Maestas) Garcia.
Mrs. Kotchetovsky was a homemaker.
An avid gardener, Dora also loved birds, especially cardinals. She especially loved to prepare and eat Mexican food.
Dora was an inspiration to everyone that she met and had the privilege to know. An excellent life teacher, she was patient and clever at anything she put her mind to accomplish, a trait that she passed on to family and friends. Dora was a kindhearted soul, a woman who was grounded in her commonsense approach to life as she listened to and followed her heart. Her greatest joy was her family.
Mrs. Kotchetovsky is survived by her three children: Alexander “Chad” Kotchetovsky and his wife, Toni, Scott Kotchetovsky and his wife, Sharon, Kim D. Pfeil and her husband, David; nine grandchildren: Joanne Kotchetovsky, Erin Kotchetovsky, Toni Kotchetovsky, Jesse Kotchetovsky, Adam Kotchetovsky, Melissa Pfeil, Jessica Houseman, Karl Pfeil, and Katrina Pfeil; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Garcia and his wife, Connie, and two sisters, Beatrice Ramirez and Shay Cook.
In addition to her husband, Dora was preceded in death by two sons, Eric, in 2013, Christopher, in 2015, and a grandson, Scott Kotchetovsky, in 2017.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
