Paul H. Kohler

February 26, 1930 — November 19, 2014

Paul H. Kohler, of Sellersville, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was 84. He was the beloved husband of Helga E. (Sachelli) Kohler for 61 years.

Born in Czechoslovakia on February 26, 1930, he was the son of the late Richard and Maria (Shurrner) Kohler.

A master cabinet maker, Mr. Kohler had been employed locally for many years with commercial installations and as an independent woodworking contractor.

A Mason, he was a member of the Hermann-Humboldt Lodge #125, of Warminster, and was a former director of the Cannstatter, of Northeast Philadelphia.

Paul enjoyed making cabinets in his spare time, too. A talented painter, he had especially enjoyed working with watercolors when he was younger.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children: Paul T. Kohler, of Sellersville; Doris Kohler Leone, of Philadelphia; and two brothers: Anton Kohler and Heinz Kohler, both of Germany.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Gerlinde Mösel, and a brother, Herbert Kohler.

His memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 1, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Steeley Funeral Home at the address above.
