Alma L. Kehs, of Independence Court, Quakertown, formerly of Sellersville, passed away Friday, December 21, in St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital. She was the wife of the late William S. Kehs, who died in 2000. They had been married over fifty years. She was 84.
Born in West Rockhill Township, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Stella (Kemmerer) Moore.
She was a 1941 graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Sellersville.
Mrs. Kehs was employed as a clerical worker at the US Gauge Division, Ametek, Inc., Sellersville, retiring in 1985 after 43 years.
She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Sellersville.
Mrs. Kehs loved to listen to music, especially the singer, Daniel O’Donnell. She also especially enjoyed wintertime trips to Florida.
She is survived by her brother: Robert W. Moore and his wife, Lucille, Sellersville and several nephews and nieces, including her caregiver, Deborah Moore Mister, Sellersville.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert S. Moore, and two sisters, Gertrude Snyder and Nancy Albrecht.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
