Robert Wiley Juniper, 88, a forty-four year resident of Souderton, formerly of Sellersville, passed away early Tuesday morning, February 12, at his residence in the Lutheran Community at Telford. He was the beloved husband of Marion L. (Campbell) Juniper, to whom he had been married sixty-six years.
Born in Doylestown, he was a son of the late Michael and Irene (Wenhold) Juniper.
He had been employed for 38 years at the former ABC Automotive, Souderton. He later worked many years in food service and maintenance for the Souderton Area School District, retiring in 1982.
Mr. Juniper was a 68-year member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Sellersville, where he had served as an usher.
A Mason for 50 years, he was a life-member of the MacCalla Lodge No. 596 F & AM, Souderton. He was also a member of Generations (SAAC), Souderton, since 1986, where he had driven the SAAC bus.
Bob enjoyed working with stained glass and doing crossword puzzles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, Richard D. Juniper and his wife, Gail; Nancy L. Jones and her husband, William, all of The Villages, Florida; James A. Juniper, Pensacola, Florida; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Barry Wenhold, Florida.
His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 15, at 11 AM at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. A calling hour will be held at the church Friday morning, from 10 AM until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to St. Michael’s Lutheran Church at the above address or to Generations, formerly SAAC, 259 North 2nd Street, Souderton, PA 18964.
