Lynn M. (Nicolo) Jones

Lynn M. Jones, 49, of Sellersville, passed away Sunday morning, November 22, 2009, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Robert E. Jones, with whom she would have celebrated 23 years of marriage on November 28.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph, Sr., and Natalie (Trimper) Nicolo.

She was a 1977 graduate of Pennridge High School.

Primarily a homemaker after her marriage, Lynn had been employed at the former C. D. Moyer, Silverdale, and the Rockhill Mennonite Community, Sellersville.

In December 2000, she was the recipient of a heart transplant at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The family is very thankful for the attentive care that Lynn had received since then from all of the doctors and nurses.

Mrs. Jones loved children, frequently babysitting, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved to cook.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kasie Jones; her son, Scott K. Jones, both of Sellersville; her brothers and sisters: Herb Nicolo, Sr., and his wife, Bonita, of Blooming Glen; Natalie Fleck, of Perkasie; Theresa Bradley, of Souderton; Joseph Nicolo, Jr., of Perkasie; Lisa Habberley, and her husband, Michael, of Green Bay, Wisconsin; Anthony Nicolo, and his wife, Cindy, of Furlong; Valerie Brown, and her husband, Daniel Goodwin, of Doylestown; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by a sister, Ruthie Miville, and two nephews: Keith David Kemmerer and Drake Miville.

Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009, at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Family and friends may call Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until time of service at the funeral home.

Interment will be held in the Silverdale Brethren in Christ Church Cemetery, Silverdale, at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions, in care of the funeral home at the address above, may be made to the family to help defray the cost of medical expenses.
