Virginia F. Jennings, 93, of Sellersville, formerly of Warminster and Lititz, passed away early Sunday morning, October 12, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of William F. Jennings, Sr., who died in 1999. They were married for 49 years.
Born in Nicholson (Wyoming County), PA, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Faye (Temperton) Holley.
A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Jennings had been employed in the purchasing department at IBM, Endicott, NY.
She was a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Sellersville.
Mrs. Jennings enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, playing bridge, and cooking, especially fine French cuisine.
She is survived by her two children: William F. Jennings, Jr. and his wife, Diana, Stockton, NJ; Holly K. DeCoursey and her husband, Kenneth, Sellersville; three grandchildren: William F. Jennings, III, Hoboken, NJ; Bridget Ann Jennings, Stockton, NJ; and Victoria Holley DeCoursey, Sellersville; and two sisters: Henrietta Adair, Sarasota, FL; and Carol (Trainer) McMurray, Chandler, AZ.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, at 1 PM in the Chapel of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. There will be no calling hours. Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to St. Michael’s Lutheran Church at the above address.
