Ronald Monroe Herder III, of Reading, formerly of Quakertown, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016. He was 34.
Born in Sellersville, he was the son of the late Ronald Monroe, Jr. and Helen “Heidi” (Leecan) Herder.
When younger, Ron had enjoyed playing football and soccer. A warm, big-hearted person, Ron was a loving father, who delighted in spending time with his children. He was a man of faith, who did the best he could and truly loved his God. No longer suffering, he is now at peace with his Lord.
He is survived by his four children: Colby, Caleb, Mya, and Malachi; his five siblings: Joshua Herder, Rachael Herder-Knauer and her husband, Keith Don Knauer, Michael Herder, Joseph Herder, and Aaron Herder; his grandfather, Ronald Monroe Herder, Sr.; and his grandmother, Antoinette Jones.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 30, in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main St., Sellersville. There is no viewing.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ron’s name may be made in care of the Steeley Funeral Home to help defray costs.
