Alma S. Hendrickson, 81, of Pennsburg, formerly a long-time resident of Perkasie, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009, at the VNA Hospice of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township. She was the beloved wife of the late John Francis Hendrickson, who died in 1992.
Born in Hilltown, she was the daughter of the late Henry S. and Mayne (Swope) Landis.
Mrs. Hendrickson had been employed as an assembler for 13 years with AEL Electronics, and then for four years with Control Displace, both of Colmar, retiring in 1985.
She is survived by two sons: John Francis Hendrickson, III, and his wife, Karen, of Arizona; and Dale W. Hendrickson, of Green Lane; one daughter, Cynthia A. Snider, and her husband, Joseph, of Royersford; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Miller, of Souderton.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Diane Loburak and Sandra Hendrickson; a grandson, John Loburak; five sisters; and one brother.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the VNA of St. Luke’s Hospice, 1510 Valley Center Parkway, Suite 200, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
