Lloyd Louis "Pat" Frederick, 69, of Shannondell at Valley Forge, Audubon, formerly of Lansdale, passed away Thursday morning, April 5, 2012.
Born in West Rockhill Township, he was the son of the late Lloyd L. "Pat" and Catherine "Kitty" (Norden) Frederick. He was a 1960 graduate of North Penn High School, where he was a wrestling champion.
Mr. Frederick was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Vietnam era.
He had owned and operated a restaurant in Fort Myers, Florida, for many years before his health declined.
Pat had been a ten-year member of the Patriotic Order Sons of America, Washington Camp 387, Schwenksville.
He was a sports enthusiast, especially an avid Flyers fan. Pat also enjoyed gardening. He was very proud of his service in the U.S. Marines and his wrestling legacy at North Penn High School. Pat had also loved his cat, "Angel."
Mr. Frederick is survived by his two sons: Lloyd L. "Pat" Frederick, and his wife, Christina, of Lansdale; and Michael J. Frederick, and his wife, Maureen, of Perkiomenville; six grandchildren: Tara Marie; Catherine Shea; Lloyd A. "Pat"; Julia Mae; Michael Anthony; and Margaret Catherine; his wife, Rina (Daniel) Frederick, of Royersford; and her three children: Aviad Adlersberg, and his wife, Melissa; Maytal Adlersberg; and Leeat Adlersberg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Laura Mae (Ciliberto) Frederick, who died in 2001.
His memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Family and friends may call Tuesday morning at the funeral home from 10:30 A.M. until time of service.
Interment with military honors will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.
