Laura "Lori" (Malin) Dimedio

June 9, 1960 — July 14, 2009

Laura "Lori" DiMedio, 49, of Moorestown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at the home of her parents in Perkasie, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Kenneth DiMedio, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, on June 9, 1960, she was the daughter of Patrick, Sr., and Blanche (Krug) Malin, of Perkasie. She grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, with her brothers, Patrick and John, along with her sister and best friend, Marilyn.

She worked as a sign crafter and artist for Artsign, Barrington, New Jersey.

Lori was a passionate gardener and loved baking and reading, especially English mystery novels. An accomplished, talented artist, she especially loved oil painting.

Every summer, she went to Ocean City, New Jersey, with her family, where each morning she would ride her bike from one end of the island to the other and return with bagels before anyone else had even stirred. On the beach, she read English mystery novels as her curly-headed son, Ian, played in the sand.

Lori had the most exquisite eye for beauty. Her oil paintings were breathtaking; her garden rivaled Eden.

Everyone who knew Lori said she was lovely, sweet, and generous. A loving mother and a devoted sister, she was all things beautiful to her family and friends. The world has lost a beautiful soul.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Ian DiMedio, of Moorestown, New Jersey; two sisters: Marilyn Malin, of Moorestown, New Jersey; and Marie Malin, of Falmouth, Maine; and two brothers: Patrick J. Malin, of Providence, Rhode Island; and John Malin, of Perkasie.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 18, 2009, promptly at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Route 152 and Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927. Family and friends may call Saturday morning at the church from 8:30 AM until time of service.

Interment will be conducted in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart parish cemetery, Hilltown.

Everyone is invited to the home of the Malins to grieve their loss and celebrate the life of their beloved daughter.
