Richard Adam Davies, Jr., of Perkasie, formerly of Doylestown, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at his residence. He was 57.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Richard A., Jr. and Donna Lee (Frascatore) Davies, of Clermont, FL.
Rich was a graduate of Central Bucks West High School, Class of 1984.
He had been self-employed as an arborist, serving clients throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties.
A passionate pool player, Rich had participated in many leagues throughout the years. He was renowned for even playing one-handed against his opponents. Music was another huge part of Rich’s life, whether he was attending concerts in Philadelphia when a teenager, jamming with the radio at maximum volume, or belting out songs for his friends and family.
Always the life of the party, Rich, aka “Taz,” possessed an infectious laugh and a mischievous sense of humor. A readily generous man, he would give the shirt off his back to a friend, even if it left him the poorer. Rich had chosen to “love hard, live hard, and play hard” throughout his life, enjoying the pleasures of great food, good times, and loyal friends.
In addition to his parents, Rich is survived by his two daughters: Lillian N. Davies and her partner, Chris Scheible, of Rockhill, SC and Kalee Camilo and her family, of Charleston, SC; two sisters: Deborah Lee Marek, of Kintnersville, and Paulette Lee Zgut, of Limon, CO; two nephews: William Marek and his wife, Caitlin, of Norristown, and Johnathan Marek and his wife, Emma, and their children, Caroline and Delilah, of Kingston, PA; and an aunt, Barbara Schmidt, of Leesburg, FL.
There will be no services.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
