Robert “Tito” Cruz, Jr., of Telford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, after a valiant battle with ALS in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township, on Thursday, March 17, 2016. He was 45.
He was the beloved husband of Katrina (Kline) Cruz for 10 years.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Roberto Cruz Morales and Martina Cruz Echevarria, of Hereford.
Tito had been employed as a mechanic. He had been a talented “jack of all trades.”
Currently attending Hopewell Christian Fellowship, Telford, he was a past member of Grace United Methodist Church, Telford.
Tito was a member of the Pennsylvania chapter of the Still Strong Auto Club, where he had served as the public relations officer.
He was a passionate baseball fan, especially the New York Yankees, and he also enjoyed following the Philadelphia Eagles. A jokester with a smile that could light up a room, Tito could put a smile on anyone’s face.
In addition to his wife and parents, Tito is survived by his children, Rachele, Shawn, Kerri, and Leland; a sister, Evette Cruz; a brother, Eric Cruz; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
His Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 16, at Hopewell Christian Fellowship, 601 Hunsicker Road, Telford, PA 18969. There will be no calling hours prior to the service.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family
