Earl Scott Cressman, Sr. passed away comfortably in his home with family present on the evening of Tuesday, July 13, 2021. He was 73.
Born in Sellersville and raised in Eastern Pennsylvania, Scott was the son of the late Earl C. and Naomi M. (Wagner) Cressman.
A U.S. Army veteran, Scott served in Vietnam from 1968-1970.
Scott always enjoyed life to the fullest. Family beach trips, annual NASCAR races, flea marketing, and gardening were some of his favorite activities. He was always passionate about having fun and living his motto of “Be Happy.” Traveling, enjoying good food, and spending quality time with his family were the pastimes that meant the most to him in his retirement.
Scott maintained close relationships with his children and grandchildren and loved his role as “Pop Pop.” Always with a canine companion by his side, Scott was known for walking his Great Dane in his hometown of Coopersburg, bringing smiles to all who passed.
Earl Scott Cressman, Sr. will be greatly missed by his family and friends. As a true hero to his children and grandchildren, they will continue to celebrate his life, day in and day out.
Scott is survived by his two sons, Earl Cressman, Jr., of Trevose, and Shawn Cressman and his wife, Keila, of Allentown; two daughters, Tara Cressman, of Coopersburg, and Susan Stiffler, and her husband, Mitchell, of Ellwood City, PA; and six grandchildren: Destiny, Felicity, Aiden, Rielly, Runa, and Bronson.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorinda Lee Reinert.
There will be no services.
