William J. Costanzo, 50, went home to be with Jesus at his residence in Quakertown, on Monday, September 21, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Tamburino) Costanzo. They would have celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary on October 2.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frederick Joseph and Elizabeth Margaret (Hackman) Costanzo. He was raised in North Hills and was a 1977 graduate of Abington High School.
A defense contractor, Mr. Costanzo had worked for 30 years at the former AEL-BAE Industries, Lansdale, before retiring in 2007 due to his health.
He loved fishing and music, at one time playing bass guitar in the band, "Super Cell." A talented artist, he loved to draw and also enjoyed watching the History Channel and playing video games. The family recalls with fondness his favorite saying, "Walk it off."
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his three sons: Jason, William P., and David, all of Quakertown; his brothers and sisters: Michael Costanzo, and his wife, Susan; Elizabeth Costanzo; David Costanzo; Adele Rossi; and Frederick Costanzo, and his wife, Vicki; and his mother-in-law, Lorraine M. Tamburino, of Telford.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Norman Tamburino.
