Amelia A. Conkling

Amelia Agnes Conkling, a long-time resident of Hilltown, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022, in Pennsburg Manor, Pennsburg. She was 95.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edward B. Conkling for 23 years until his death in 2000.
Born in Hilltown Township, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Valeria (Tanjanskas) Rims.
Mrs. Conkling was primarily a homemaker.
A vibrant, accomplished woman, Millie enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Windstream Travel Club. Her journeys took her to nearly every state. She was an avid gardener, who especially delighted in her roses and Spring blossoms, looking forward to each new growing season. She also enjoyed fishing and observing all the wildlife on her property, including the deer and the birds at her many feeders.
A matriarch to her extended family, Mrs. Conkling is survived by an abundance of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Thomas, Anthony, and Edwin, and two sisters, Frances and Violet.
There will be no services.
