Harriet M. Clayton, of Hilltown Township, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019, at her residence. She was 81.
She was the beloved wife of David C. Clayton, Sr. They had marked 61 years of marriage on April 19.
Born in Abington, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Edith (Thomas) Lodge.
Mrs. Clayton was a homemaker, who truly enjoyed taking care of the house and making it a home. Holidays were always special family times to be relished and remembered. She also enjoyed watching QVC and shopping, taking particular pride in her appearance. Her favorite dish was her daughter Susan’s chicken casserole.
In addition to her husband, Harriet is survived by her son, David Clayton, Jr., and his wife, Bernadette, of Perkasie; her daughter, Susan C. Fellenz, and her husband, Nickolas, of Quakertown; and five grandchildren, Tiffany, Brianne, Shannan, Mollie Kate, and Sean.
She was preceded in death by her three siblings, Horace Lodge, William Lodge, and Gladys Schell.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 29, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville will be private at the convenience of the family.
