James C. Class, Jr., of Souderton, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, in Elm Terrace Gardens, Lansdale. He was 85.
He was the beloved husband of Connie (Shellenberger) Class for 27 years.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late James C., Sr. and Helen K. (Croll) Class.
Mr. Class was a U. S. Army veteran, having served from 1956-1959.
Jim was the owner and proprietor of the Class Produce Stand, Rte. 309, Souderton.
Always a hard-working man, Jim had loved farming and keeping his tractors in top running order. He enjoyed most growing tomatoes and peppers. He had also repaired golf carts.
An avid hunter, he had also enjoyed riding his Harley in his younger years. As a NASCAR fan, he made sure to follow the daily racing news in the newspaper, usually with his favorite Dunkin’ Donuts and morning coffee. He also enjoyed following baseball and occasionally playing the lottery.
A strong and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Jim was also a good friend, always willing to help anyone in need. This generosity of spirit was repaid in kind when countless friends and family came to his aid during the last months of Jim’s illness, assisting Connie with caregiving responsibilities.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Class is survived by his children, grandchildren, and several siblings.
There will be no services.
