Kathleen I. Browne

Kathleen I. Browne, of Sellersville, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at her residence. She was 83.
She was the wife of the late Arthur S. Browne for 54 years until his death in 2011.
Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Henry B. and Catherine E. (Kennedy) Shober. She was a 1952 graduate of Easton Catholic High School.
Kathleen began her nursing career in 1957, working as a registered nurse at several locations in Atlantic and Somerset counties in New Jersey. Once her children were born, Mrs. Browne became a homemaker for whom family and home became the only priorities.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown Township.
Kathleen enjoyed gardening.
Mrs. Browne is survived by her two children, Christian Kennedy Browne, and his wife, Wendy, of Hilltown, Township, and Kathleen Ryan Browne, of Nutley, NJ; two grandchildren, Christian Kennedy Browne II and Madison Victoria Browne; and a sister, Jane A. Holjes, of Mount Joy.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Kelly Browne, and a sister, Nancy Leh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927, where a visitation will be held from 9-9:45 a.m.
Interment will follow in St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Cemetery, Morrisville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Browne’s name may be made to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at the address above.
