Jean Bradish, of the Lutheran Community at Telford, formerly of Doylestown and Fort Salonga, New York, was sent to her Eternal Home on Thursday, August 8, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Bradish for 63 years. She was 83.
Born in Doylestown, she was the daughter of the late James and Alice (Miller) Bunn. Jean was a 1947 graduate of Doylestown High School, where she was a member of the Varsity Club and served as assistant manager for the hockey team.
Mrs. Bradish was a homemaker.
Jean was a member of Peace-Tohickon Lutheran Church, Perkasie.
While living in New York, Mrs. Bradish had been a member of the Gourmet Club.
Jean was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed cooking, craft projects, pottery, and ceramics.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bradish is survived by her two children: Robert Bradish and his wife, Kimberly, of Brunswick, MD; Cathy Lang, of New York; a granddaughter, Kelsa Bradish; of Brunswick, MD; and a sister, Barbara Erwin, of California.
She was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard Bradish, Jr. and his wife, Helen (Kawejsza) Bradish; and a brother, James Bunn, Jr.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, in the Chapel of the Lutheran Community at Telford, 235 North Washington Street, Telford, PA 18969. Family and friends may call Tuesday in the chapel from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will be conducted privately in Northport Rural Cemetery, Northport, New York.
