Elizabeth Bogotuik, 94, of Silverdale, formerly of Hilltown, passed away Wednesday morning, October 13, 2010, in St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital, Quakertown. She was the wife of the late Walter Bogotuik, who died in 2005.
Born in Bridgeport, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Kuchna) Lesko.
Elizabeth had been a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed needlework, crocheting, gardening, and tending to her flower beds.
She was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Hilltown.
Elizabeth is survived by two sons: Bernard M. Bogotuik, and his wife, Christine M., of Quakertown; and Ronald W. Bogotuik, and his wife, Barbara, of Hilltown; two grandchildren: Geoffrey Bogotuik, and his wife, Cheri, of Orwigsburg; and Amanda Diamand, and her husband, Harris, of Levittown; a step-great-granddaughter, Carleigh; and one sister, Anne Ellow, of Bridgeport.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 15, 2010, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Route 152 and Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927. There are no calling hours.
Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart parish cemetery, Hilltown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Bogotuik’s memory to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, P.O. Box 31, Hilltown, PA 18927.
