Dorothy "Dot" Bibic, 92, of Naples, Florida, formerly a long-time resident of Sellersville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, in Naples Hospital, Naples, Florida. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Bibic for 53 years, until his death in 1994.
Born in the Washington House, Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Florence (Nace) Fosbenner, who were employed by the Neuweiler Family, owners of the Washington House.
Dot was a 1937 graduate of Sell-Perk High School.
Married in 1941, Ed and Dot raised their family in Sellersville before retiring to Naples in 1986.
She had been employed as a ward clerk at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township, retiring in 1985. Prior to that, she had worked at the former Wispese, of Perkasie; at the Jacques de Loux Company, in the office of PP & L, and at the Poultry Item, all of Sellersville.
Dot was a long-time member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Sellersville.
Mrs. Bibic is survived by her three children: Barbara Lawrence and her husband, Brooke, of Naples; Bonnie Hendricks, of Cape Coral, FL; Edward Bibic and his wife, Elizabeth, of Telford; six grandchildren: Susie Schultz; Steve Lawrence; Stephanie Hendricks; Jennifer Turner; Kate Bibic; Jon Bibic; three great-grandchildren: Christopher Schultz; Jace Turner; Vaughn Turner; and two brothers: Kenneth Fosbenner and his wife, Geraldine, of Sellersville; and J. Donald Fosbenner and his wife, Phyllis, of Souderton.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Fosbenner.
Her Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, February 18, 2012, in St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 104 Green Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Family and friends may call at the church from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Interment will be in Sellersville Cemetery.
