Frank R. Bialobrzeski, Sr., 80, a 50 year resident of Sellersville, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, March 30, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Jurick) Bialobrzeski, to whom he was married for 55 years.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Alexander, Sr. and Julianna (Kobylinski) Bialobrzeski .
Mr. Bialobrzeski was a US Army veteran, having served in Alaska during World War II.
Along with his father, he worked the family farms in Bristol, Hilltown, and West Rockhill. He was later employed for thirty years in maintenance with the former Reading Railroad and Conrail.
Mr. Bialobrzeski was a long-time member of St. Agnes Church, Sellersville.
Frank was a member and past commander of the American Legion Nase-Kraft Post 255, Sellersville. He also was a member of the American Legion Post 242, Quakertown and the VFW Forrest Lodge 245, Sellersville.
An avid gardener, Frank also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He appreciated nature and animals. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Bialobrzeski is survived by two children: Julia Buckman and her husband, Bill, Bedminster; Frank, Jr. and his wife, Ruth, Bethlehem; seven grandchildren: Donald; Jeff; Bill, Jr., Chris; Frank III; Kaitlin; Alex; and one great-granddaughter, Hailey. He will also be missed by his dogs, "Jake" and "Jock."
He was preceded in death by three sisters: Stella Kutt, Laura Korniski, and Josephine Lorence and two brothers: Alexander, Jr. and Chester.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 2, at 10: 00 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 1, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, at the Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville and at the church Wednesday morning, from 9:00 AM until 9: 45 AM. Interment will be in the adjacent parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 242, 610 East Broad Street, Quakertown, PA 18951 or St. Agnes Catholic Church, at the address above.
