Helen Bialobrzeski, of Bedminster, formerly of West Rockhill Township, passed away Saturday, January 5, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank R. Bialobrzeski, Sr., to whom she was married for 55 years until his death in 2008. She was 88.
Born in St. Clair, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine (Chvostek) Jurick.
In her youth she had worked at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. After her marriage, Mrs. Bialobrzeski was a homemaker and helped her husband operate the family farm in West Rockhill.
Mrs. Bialobrzeski was a long-time member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.
An avid reader, Helen also loved knitting, crocheting, and working puzzle books. She and her late husband had enjoyed traveling to American Legion conferences and conventions. Helen loved to go out to eat with her family and, most especially, loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and tending to her animals.
Mrs. Bialobrzeski is survived by her two children: Julia Buckman, of Bedminster; Frank Bialobrzeski, Jr. and his wife, Ruth, of Bethlehem; seven grandchildren: Donald; Jeff; Bill, Jr., Chris; Frank III; Kaitlin; and Alex; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Martin Jurick, and his wife, Helen, of Lansdowne and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Jurick; a sister, Anne McKnight; and a son-in-law, William H. Buckman, Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, January 8, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville and at the church Wednesday morning, from 9 a.m. until
9: 45 a.m.
Interment will be in the adjacent parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to the Steeley Funeral Home at the address above to help defray costs.
