Patricia L. Belott, 56, of Lansdale, passed away Monday, December 8, at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert M. Belott, who died in 2001.
Born in Abington on June 10, 1952, she was the daughter of Sue (Mecray) Swinney Overbaugh of Hilltown and the late James Eugene Swinney. She was the stepdaughter of Harry Overbaugh, Hilltown.
Patty, who loved children, had been employed for many years as a nanny.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the VFW Forrest Lodge 245, Sellersville.
A member of a women’s shuffle league and a bowling league, Patty also enjoyed casino bus trips; traveling; music; and dancing, especially to “Wipeout.” .
In addition to her mother and stepfather, she is survived by a daughter: Jamie S. Belott and a son, Michael A. Belott, both of Lansdale; three sisters: Carol Tyson and her husband, Mike, Kintnersville; Peggy Lewis and her husband, Bruce, Quakertown; Brenda Matern and her husband, Mark, Perkasie; two brothers: James Swinney, Coopersburg; Joseph Swinney and his wife, Sandy, Sellersville; two step-sisters: Kathy Dickerson, Quakertown; Cindy Clark, Hot Springs, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.
Patty’s Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 13, at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Family and friends may call Friday evening, December 12 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM and Saturday morning from 10:00 until time of service, all at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Andrew’s Union Cemetery, Perkasie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family in care of Steeley Funeral Home at the address above.
