James G. Bell, Jr., of Sellersville, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, in Grand View Hospital, Sellersville. He was 66.
He was the beloved husband of Donna Duffy-Bell for 26 years.
Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late James G., Sr. and Arlene (Lynch) Bell. Jim was a 1967 graduate of Methacton High School.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the time of the Vietnam War.
Jim had been employed as a foreman for 45 years with Precision Tube Co., a Division of Mueller Industries, North Wales, retiring in 2015.
He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.
An avid sports fan, Jim enjoyed hunting, bowling, baseball, golf and reading.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Zachary Bell of Sellersville; two sisters, Linda Spanakos, and her husband, Bill of Christiana, PA; and Dianne Bell of Conway, SC; a sister-in-law, Colleen Palermo, and her husband, Charles of Perkasie; an aunt, Doris Oelschlager of Frederick, PA; an uncle, Benjamin Lynch of Highland, CA; and three nieces, Sharon Spanakos, Jennifer Palermo Brent and Angela Palermo Fretz; and his mother-in-law, Roselyn Duffy of Telford.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 8, in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main St., Sellersville, where a visitation will be held beginning at 9 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Bell’s memory may be made to support those who are homeless in Upper Bucks County at Outreach Care, P.O. Box 164, Quakertown, PA 18951.
