Obituary for Terry L. Weidemoyer

Terry L. Weidemoyer, of Quakertown, formerly of Sellersville, passed away quietly on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the VNA Hospice at St. Luke’s, Bethlehem. He was 73.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of the late Howard and LaRue (Trauger) Weidemoyer. Growing up on High Street in Sellersville, Terry was a part of a large and loving family. He was a 1967 graduate of Pennridge High School.

After graduation, Terry was employed by the U. S. Gauge Division, Ametek, Inc., Sellersville. Drafted, he served four years in the U. S. Army before returning home. Resuming his employment at Ametek, Terry remained with the company until the Sellersville plant’s closing in 2008.

Always a car enthusiast, Terry owned several classic cars, including 1968, 1972, and 1978 Corvettes and several Camaros. More recently, he had become an avid cyclist and enjoyed biking long distances.

He is survived by his two brothers: David Weidemoyer, of Pottstown, and Jay Weidemoyer and his wife, Michelle, of Perkasie; three sisters: Bonnie Ann Myers and her husband, Dean, of Pipersville, Joy Lynn Dlugosz and her husband, David, of New Holland, and Brenda Clark and her husband, Neil, of Perkasie; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane J. Zajatz, earlier this year.

As per Terry’s wishes, there will be no services.
