Obituary for Matthew E. Drenkhahn

Matthew Emil Drenkhahn, of Pipersville, formerly of Sellersville, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at his residence. He was 50 years old.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of Donald D. Drenkhahn, Sellersville, and the late Mary (Berret) Drenkhahn and the step-son of Debra Drenkhahn, Sellersville.

A quiet, peaceful man, Matt enjoyed the outdoors, photography, and working on his cars and motorcycles. He was a lover of all animals and always went out of his way to help the ones that he could. Above all else, his favorite pastime was spent with his pit bull and best friend, “Cooper,” as well as raising a variety of exotic animals, such as snakes and birds.

In addition to his father and step-mother, Matt is survived by his two siblings: Philip Drenkhahn and his partner, Kelly Nodecker, of Perkasie, and Julie Drenkhahn and her fiancé, Matt Apker, of Lolo, Montana.

Matt will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.

There are currently no services scheduled at this time. A small gathering for Matt’s family and friends will be held in his honor during the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, Matt’s family asks that any memorial contributions be made in Matt’s name to Last Chance Ranch, a non-profit animal rescue located at 9 Beck Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951. To make a donation online, please visit https://www.lastchanceranch.org/donate.
