Obituary for Charles H. Keeler

Charles Henry Keeler, formerly of Quakertown, passed away at Chestnut Hill Lodge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Glenside on Thursday, May 27, 2021. He was 92.

He was the husband of the late Edna A. (Weil) Keeler until her death in 1985.

Born in Locust Valley, he was the son of the late Abraham A. and Margaret (Mumbauer) Keeler.

Mr. Keeler had been employed as a meat grinder at Hatfield Quality Meats, of Hatfield.

An avid fisherman, Charles had also loved spending Summer days working in his vegetable garden. He also enjoyed watching NFL football games and old Western movies. As a gifted yodeler, he had delighted friends and family with this special skill.

Mr. Keeler is survived by his children: Sharon L. Lucier, Barry L. Keeler, David L. Keeler and his wife, Kathleen, and Timothy Bruce Keeler, all of Quakertown; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anna Painton, of Steel City.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Keeler was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Willis Keeler and Paul Allan Keeler, and three brothers.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
