E. Mae Longacre, of the Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown, formerly of Coopersburg and Sellersville, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, at her residence. She was 90.

She was the wife of David M. Longacre, Richlandtown. They would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in August.

Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late George Reuben Frank and Pearl Edna (Raudenbush) Frank. Mae was a 1948 graduate of Sell-Perk High School.

For many years, Mrs. Longacre had owned and operated her own ceramic studio in Perkasie, where she had instructed countless students over the years.

Mae and Dave had been members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Coopersburg since 1996.

After her retirement, Mae was able to enjoy more time square dancing and camping with her husband. She also loved cooking for large family gatherings.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Longacre is survived by her two children: Dee Ann Roberts and her husband, William, of East Greenville, and Michael David Longacre and his partner, Kathy, of Quakertown; two grandchildren, Bruce Lee Mendez, of Washington, and Michael Andrew Longacre, of Colorado; three brothers: G. Patrick Frank and his wife, Judy, of Sellersville, Richard H. Frank, of Bradenton, FL, and Alan R. Frank and his wife, Robin, of Perkasie; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Frank Longacre, in 1991, and a brother, Tom Frank.

Graveside services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Longacre’s name to the SPCA-Upper Bucks County Shelter, 60 Reservoir Road, Quakertown, PA 18951.
