Rest in Peace, Alvin

Sweet smile on your face as you sleep the pain away.
Resting in the Lord’s arms now, you are still watching us here below.
We never imagined the end would be like this…….
Holding your hand and telling you not to worry was not easy to do.

You have always been there,
Unconditionally, your love never wavering.

We miss you more than words can say.
Our load feels so heavy; we’re not sure we will last.
We are afraid of life now that you are gone,
As you’ve always been there to guide the way.

We wish you could have stayed just a little longer
There’s so much left to do.

We find relief in knowing we will see you again.
We will walk the footsteps you have before us.
Go well
And sleep in the cradle of the Lord.

Until we meet again Babes/Pappie/Dad/Ally
